This series was triggered by a mass felling of some 100 trees a mile from my home. Shock and dismay haunted me for weeks. I could not find any relief from such an act of gross vandalism. Then these pictures took hold of me and have given some salve!
Like they say, it won't bring the trees back, but maybe by putting them out there, it might raise awareness of the plight of trees everywhere
